Are we as bad as we think we are ?

Or worse, maybe we are much worse than we think we are. Thomas Carlyle makes the point that the fox, like us, plans to attack. But he doesn't do it consciously like we do: He doesn't rationalize his actions before other foxes and he doesn't spend time doing it afterwards- something which clearly suggests greater evil than can come from reconciliation with reality.
To God and to us , if we were honest, the fox is pretty tame . God gave us the higher calling so the heights we fall from are much more profound.

But unbelievably  weird isn't it ?
Noone talks much about God, but he can look pretty good compared to us.
Infact despite the claims of men, God claims he is thoroughly good. And if technological society only works when theories of action work,  the faiths of those who believe that God is good, are some of the most reliable in bringing good -- unless of course you want to move to some other culture and prove me wrong.

You won't of course hear this from the reactionaries , They are paid to proclaim the gospel that God is dead and if anyone is bad - it's the other bloke . Works quite well until you try and live with the lies in a house, or a room  or a seething bunch of vipers who are trying to convince you their truth is objective .
